G.W.ROBINSON REMODELING PROCESS

Our process is specifically designed to assist you with your questions and concerns in the early stages of the remodeling project. Our projects are more successful when homeowners have secured G.W Robinson Remodeling services at the beginning of the project so that the design team can work together to develop a successful plan.

1. Create Preliminary Budget with Client

In the first meeting with the client, G.W. Robinson Remodeling addresses the Client's desired goals, scope of work and budget. Click here to read more about items to consider when remodeling.

2. Design a Preliminary Floor Plan

G.W Robinson Remodeling services are retained for design work & research (zoning, property setbacks, septic tank if required). A preliminary plan is developed and reviewed. At this stage, the engineer and key subcontractors are consulted for input on the preliminary design, as needed. Desired products are addressed and a preliminary budget is established.

3. Final Approval for Revisions to Working Drawings and Budget/ Final Agreement

The final working set of plans and budget will be completed after the client has approved the preliminary floor plan and the preliminary budget. At this point the client will select cabinets, counter tops, plumbing fixtures, electrical fixtures, and flooring. The final budget, working drawing and, specifications, will be presented to the client. After the final budget is established and approved, a groundbreaking date will be set and final preparations will be made to apply for building permit and began construction. A final agreement is reached between client and G.W. Robinson Remodeling

4. Introduce Production Team to Project

The Production Team will prepare for construction. Subcontractors and suppliers are notified. A pre-construction meeting between client & construction team will take place at the project site. Construction begins after the this meeting and the superintendent and project manager are available to the clients at all times throughout construction.

5. Final Stage of the Project

Finally as the project nears completion, a walk-through is conducted and a final checklist is completed with the home owner. Our company strives to complete the final phase of the project with zero deficiencies. We are committed to each and every client so that they may enjoy the process of remodeling their home.
